Sushi King craze
I am currently working in sushi king subang parade…actuali since 6th october. Man this is such a fun and great experience! It is conquered by subang utama students…. me, angeline, si onn, darren seow, theng seng and esyuar. Everytime we do closing and i mean it EVERYTIME- we want to no… also HAVE to eat ALLLLLLL the sushi left we can that never managed to be sold. So far, I ate all the sushi in the menu except one or two… among the l0ong awaited inari burger!
I have totally fun colleagues.. among them other than schoolmates are stephen (19 yrs old), aneri, miss Lorna (a very efficient yet fun manager), the kitchen crew frm nepal….. rai (short and a little plump… talks like he looks! XD), Dharma ( nice guy) and augustine ( well built head chef frm sarawak). So far we ate 2 whole secret recipe cakes… ( one of them is the manager in training bought for the kitchen staff cus they taught her cooking until she past her test) and the second was a regular customer who’s good frens wif the service leader, kak yati. We had lotsa joking, laughter and sumtimes moody days s well =).
Id definiteli like to recommend sum of my fav food that i ate legally n illegally (shh!) in sushi king… among them r: IKAGESO KARAAGE! SAKE PIRI PIRI! SOFT SHELL CRAB! yea mn…. n to top it off i put on a few kg since i worked der sob sob.
during closing we got hold of the estee lauder pink bicycle they kept in parkson…. its decorated wif sugary donuts n lotsa roses lol. we camwhored wif it. Plan to go on a colleague outing nex week to watch late nite movies in pyramid too! I tink Si onn has finally gave up dieting XD. The manager told him to diet so dat he can fit into the uniforms LOL. but anyway a bigger head heard bout dis n pitied him. They’re gonna get a larger size for him…. maybe japs r just too small size.
Most embarassing moment?
Dat time i did flying kik to ruin the plastic covers dat s onn stacked up but off corse just for fun n quickly put down my leg rite before it touched the covers. Unfortunately… the floor was just mopped n i slipped n fell bckwards…. my whole body layed on the floor! It hurt.. but my stomach hurt more frm laughing. Its a good ting i didnt get any serious injuries although i knocked my head XD.but aniway subang parade was already closed dat time so no outsiders saw =p.
Stephen’s a nice guy too =). He drove ange n i to make epf accounts in petaling. n also brought us out for mc d after work n sent us home after midnite. malangnya his mum told him to work der permenantly for allowance cus she wants him to be independant. He actualli planned to work der jus to kill time during his college holidays =S.
Bout gettng your paycheck…..
Noting much exciting i guess. I have to becareful cus got atm card… after overspend! but first got to pay back lotsa hutang =(… i plan to save s much s i can.. hha kiamsiap.
You must be wondering how we save money since have to eat lunch/dinner in parade.Well here r sum tips to spend max rm2 n still be full! Go to cold storage n buy the packet of rice or mee for rm 1.99. or go carrefour n buy nasi lemak n rock bun! (looks feel n taste lik a rock) or maybe not.=p. Its kinda funny cus we actualli experience how it is lik being poor… looking at food which is too expensive to be bought lol.
I dun tink id be online for a long time till december cus not working den. I’ll definitely miss workin in sushi king.. 3 more weeks to go =).at d same time however im happy to have free time for myself in dec! Cnt wait to put up christmas deco in sushi king soon. anyway happy hols, enjoy n ciao =D
ps: be careful wen u drink cold drinks in my workplace. dt time we wanted to break the ice which joined together in the plastic bag so we dropped it unto the floor to crush it. at one point, i took of my shoe n did a chop kick on it… n the ice broke BUT the plastic tore so my foot n sock touched d ice XD. ooooooooooooooops….. aiya dun worry we change d ice daily so d nex time u stop by it aint the one wif which my foot entered XD
