Easter Rally~
Easter Rally is finally over!I was really stressed out and busy…sleeping past 12 almos 3 days in a row…not doing much devotion time =.=…cuz of d dance performance thing which exhausted me..>.<Well…by GOD’s grace all turned out just fine!Let me start frm the beginning of SATURDAY:
I got up from bed around 6.30am…and got ready to go to school.I reached school at 7.45 sumtin…and we rehearsed our dance routine which was still a lil messy!Soon…I started putting up the backdrop.Inez ran home to get tape and extra aluminium foil for the K word.The backdrop….GRRR!So much prob wei lol.At first, I sticked the words to the board using velcro.It stuck at first but then came of!So then…solution no.2:
We used double sided tape and wat ever normal tape to tape the words…It stuck well~!Soon…the words started dropping off again.By this time i was really tired as I had to climb up and down the ladder….so think fast people!wat to do nex to get the words up der?!?
Solution no 3 : NO CHOICE BUT HAD TO DO IT.I taped cellophane across the words to stick it to the board.It can be seen frm afar and looked messy.Soon the words started falling off again!Especially the K and the O….
Solution no 4: I ordered ange to cut short strips and paste it across the cellophane like a criss cross so it wuldnt come out.It stuck for a wile…and then started coming off!!!!!!!!!
Solution no 5: We just stapled the cellophane tape so it wuldnt detach…….HALLELUJAH IT STAYED BABY!lOl…
After dat, we had some dance practices again.We were told it was a lil messy at the parts which we had to move around..so we rehearsed again.When it was around 12.30, I went to Astrid’s and had a nice cold bath…yay!After drinking water,eating a cookie and taking my salad which was kept in her house earlier on, we walked to school again.I then persuaded the canteen people who were reluctant to keep the salad in d fridge haiz…but managed to aniway =p
I got to rest alot as I had noting much to do after dat…Darren and Min Shen then briefed me bout the dance’s schedule which was after the ice-breaker!A bunch of us, erika, me, inez camwhored lol..ALOT.We als took pictures of each other jumping and I hurt my leg a lil after jumping off the stage..oopsie =S
We then went through the dance in pulau ketam and we looked as if we were doing a video shoot!We practiced, said a prayer and went to the hall….
On the way, I met Peik Shyuan!Haven’t seen her in years…glad she came =D.We chatted and I met Yen yi, Yumey..and then Ji Ming,Yen Yi and I camwhored awhile in fron of the hurricane fan hehe
The dance Performance went on fine…people responded!Ange got a lil sesat but she was okay hehe…and Ji Ming did a split =.=" LOL
Praise and worship followed up after that…Su Ling and Ju ee showed up =D and I saw Barry too.GOD deserves all the praise!Later there were performances by Chin Chin n rumah hope.
After that, ps Victor gve a sermon about breakforth.He said that GOD gave men the key of authority but the devil snatched it and still snatches it away frm men wen we sin against GOD.And that is why Jesus came to die on the cross for us…to defeat the devil..and give men back the authority which the devil stole.All men have to do now is ask frm Jesus!About 3 ppol were saved dat day and many recommited themselves to GOD…including yumey =).Soon after was refreshments!yayyyyy!Unfortunately, i had to run to the canteen wif yih shan to get our food frm the fridge.Wen we got bak, there was a loong queue as usual…min shen’s cake was all snapped up SOB!I’m glad dat my potato salad was doing well too…lol. It rained so heavily wif a strong wind that the wind almos blew my plate out of me hands!
After having food..we chat awhile.Samuel has nice earrings…crystal squares >.<’…aniway..we soon proceeded to destroying the backdrop (woohoooo!) We ripped it and broke it to pieces, by chopping it,banging it on our heads and other’s, kicking it, breaking it and lots more…a tradition lorh since last yr’s easter rally! LOL…Angeline and I had to rush home cause my sis was sending us bak.
Wen i reached home..i was tired n my muscles were beginning to ache..I went to sleep at 7 =p.
Im glad that this rally was for GOD..and everything turned out great!=D
